Hello Boring Normal Week Readers,
Ben and I hope you had an amazingly boring normal week this week. Spring is a wonderful time of year. We have enjoyed opening up the windows and smelling the rain as it falls. This past week we had a couple of good rain showers which were just beautiful. I am finally wearing my new glasses consistently which is excellent. Since I have progressive lenses, starting new glasses is always a challenge because no progressive lens is ever the same. Mom saw a bunny figurine holding a pink flower and she picked it up for me. So it’s now sits in front of my bay window next to all my plants. I love it. Spring is always the best decorating time of year, I love it more than Christmas.
Work
How has your boring normal work week been? Ben had a good week at work. He has gotten to work the range and he really enjoys that station at his job. On Friday, we took Nova, our youngest dog to the vet for her six month check up, she lost five pounds so they were excited about that. I think it is because she has been playing a lot more with Lola outside because the weather has been so nice lately. Maxwell has been enjoying the sun as well laying and sunning himself.
My work week was long but good. One of my student was able to get an 80 on their calculus 1 exam. They were really excited since they are having to take the class again. I met the new sergeant that will be on campus. He is really positive and I like that. I think he will be an excellent fit for the campus. I had the president of the college stop by and talk with me this week and say hi. It was nice to see them in my office since it had been a while. Overall it was a good week.
Personal
Next week is a four day weekend for me. I have Good Friday and Caesar Chavez day off. Nothing like a post Spring Break holiday. 🙂 I have been working on my creative writing and doing a blog separate from this one that allows me to do some snippets of writing and help me start and work on ideas that run through my thoughts. I have thought about doing a podcast associated with it but I am going to wait and see.
