Hello World Wide Readers,
As we promised yesterday as we closed out 2023 we would share with you today our goals for 2024. We hope everyone had a wonderful time celebrating the new year last night. We were able to see fireworks going off from the window in our living room. It was really pretty. Anyway, lets get to those new year goals.
Continue to encourage the normal.
Ben and I believe this is really important. To often, the world encourages extreme behavior. We do not encourage or support that type of behavior. We believe being normal is a beautiful and wonderful thing. That is why we share it here. We get sick, we face difficulties, and we are in no ways perfect. This makes us normal. It’s ok to be this way. We also believe family is a beautiful gift. We believe family is what gets people through the rough times and family is not just people of blood but those who share strong bonds. We also believe in forgiveness. Forgiving is a hard lesson to learn, some in this world never learn it. However, for Ben and I, forgiveness has given us the opportunity to be normal. It allows us to move on from the pain of being hurt and just accept it as what is so we can continue to help others in their journeys in life.
Prepare for the future.
We believe in preparing for what ever the world throws at us. By being prepared, we can ensure our actions and behavior can be normal. Being prepared, provides comfort and stability in a chaos driven world. This means exploring opportunities for Ben to further educate himself in skills that will be needed in the future. For me, it means saving, paying off debt and helping take care of others in need, whether its giving them a meal, listening to them share their story, or giving them a warm item of clothing. Everyone has needs, Ben and I believe it’s our responsibility to help those in need and provide them with assistance so people can continue on with their journey.
So these two goals are what we will be focusing on in 2024. We believe in making goals achievable and challenging.
It is our hope, you will set yourself some achievable goals for yourself in 2024.
