Hello World Wide Readers,
Ben and I hope your doing well. A cool front is moving in today so it’s a little wet outside but no worries its warm, happy, and calm inside. Ben was able to go play Battletech last night. They won but not in a traditional method. He also has been playing Call of Duty afterwork since its really to cold to go out and relax. Work is going well for him. His coworkers and him decided to go out to eat for their holiday luncheon. I am excited to see that they are all going to celebrate the holiday season together. This week we went to Wednesday Evening prayer. Ben has a friend who is an Anglican priest, so Ben wanted to go see what their services were like. Ben was happy to go.
This coming week is finals for our students at the college. So schedules are changing and students are ready to get out for the winter break. One of my students just needed two more classes to graduate in the spring. Through grit and determination she was able to signed up for both of those classes. I was really excited and proud of them for seeing it through. She is going to be a fantastic video game developer. When we were talking, we talked about what I enjoyed about in video games. It was nice to be able to share that with a game developer. They informed me that it’s not just developing games for entertainment, but there is a strong market for games in education for students to learn difficult concepts. As an educator, I think that is brilliant.
Other than that, this week has been pretty normal. Cool weather in the mornings, sunny afternoons, laundry, dishes, and dinner. It’s nice to have the peace and stability of a normal life. We hope your normal lives are fulfilling you during this holiday season.
