Our Normal Week…

Hello World Wide Readers,

We hope this blog finds you well and relaxed.  We had another normal week  here in our house. Ben is preparing for another work trip this week coming up. I have been working as well. We finished computer replacements in our video gaming lab on campus. I also went to my endo this week. My A1c was 5.1 so she is planning on moving me to see her only twice a year instead of every quarter. I am also getting a new insulin pump from Medtronic. It’s always fun to get a new pump.  I am hoping though it is easier to transfer the data over this time than it was the last time.  I am really excited about that. Ben has been making soups for dinner. They are really good.  He takes the left overs and uses them for his lunch. Since the weather is cooler it is perfect.  He also reached out to his friend to get more of his BattleTech figurines painted.

On Friday, we had a really good time.  We went to Target and looked at all the Pokémon stuff they had. He likes to poke fun of me for liking Pokémon and that is ok.  I don’t mind. We then went to the Dragon’s Lair and he went to see what table top games folks were playing while I was looking at all the Pokémon items.  He has discovered a new table top game he is going to want to try.  It is a military strategy game with a backdrop of WWII. According to Ben, the setup and rules are similar to WH40K so he is looking at maybe playing that game as well.  It was really fun hanging out with Ben on Friday doing things we both liked but in the same area.  We both had a really good time. Yesterday, he went to the range and practiced  and then went to play WH40K at one of the local gaming stores here in town.

We had a small celebration with Dingdongs for our three year anniversary into our new house.  It was fun. Ben likes Dingdongs when their frozen and I just consider them hokey pucks at that point.  So I thawed mine and then we celebrated.  The weather has been nice this week. I will admit though I am looking forward to the rain this coming week.  My trees need it. We hope all is well and that your weeks are boring and normal.

See you next week.
