Boring Normal Week 2/10/24

Hello World Wide Readers,

I hope you had a wonderful boring normal week this week. Ben and I had one and it was wonderful. Ben completed his interview for the lead position at his work. They are expecting to make a decision next week.  Either way it was a positive experience just to have the interview. This week I did the five voices training and found out I was a Pioneer-Creative. That was interesting to learn about that voice of the five voices. I am really lucky to have a team that is comprised of all the five voices. I also started a new book, How to Know a Person: The Art of Seeing Others Deeply and Being Deeply Seen by David Brooks.  It’s definitely an  interesting book.  It’s a quick read but very insightful especially if you work or deal with young adults. Ben went and played WH40K last night and was able to win.  He had a good time.  Ben talked with his brother this week again.  They are trying to stay in communication at least once a week.  Family is important for the stability of your boring normal life.  You should always stay in touch.

The weather has been kind of cloudy but warmer here this week. This morning its kind of drizzly and humid.  There is definitely rain expected later this morning. My piece index score this week has been about 80%.  I was able this week to get my office redesigned which has helped a lot in making it a lot more like home instead of office. This weekend Ben is going to teach to some of his mentors.  While he is doing that, I am going to relax at home and do some laundry and cleaning up. While going to my leadership conference this week, I drove by a bookstore called Nowhere Books. So I am hoping Ben and I can go visit it either on Sunday or next weekend.

I have a rolling whiteboard in my office and I moved it out to front of the office and wrote a positive statement on it.  Every morning, I have started writing a positive message on the board. This was yesterdays.

The worst sin towards our fellow creatures is not to hate them,

but to be indifferent to them:

that’s the essence of inhumanity.

George B. Shaw

So love or hate my friends but do not be indifferent. Living a boring normal life does not mean being inhuman but instead means living our true emotions within boundaries that ensures chaos stays outside.

So stay inside and be happy our dear readers.  We will see you on the next podcast.
